Hoxton FM grew from an independent east London internet radio station into a global live-streaming pioneer.

Livestreams continue from the Forward Movement studio every Thursday evening with Dan Formless and guests. You can watch and listen back to the archives or tune in live from 19:00 GMT via twitch.tv/hoxtonfm. More shows and locations are being added throughout 2025. Hoxton FM was created to share inspirational music, art, fashion and culture.  The main priority was to provide an independent platform to those looking for an opportunity to take their first steps. Up and coming artists, DJs, record labels, events and venues were able to build their followings and take their brands to the next level.  

Media partners have included Facebook Live, YouTube, Chew TV, Instagram, Twitter, Soundcloud, Mixcloud and the International Radio Festival (with over 100 million listeners in 2016).

Based in studios around east London from Hoxton square to Hackney road (yards from the world famous Premises studios), Hoxton FM has always represented the cream of one of the most creative and cosmopolitan cities in the world.

Supporting artists and collectives in collaborative endeavours with each other helped create new projects, music, events and opportunities.  The station’s ethos was always to help achieve greater synergy, unity and more vibrant creative communities.
